Consultations Included with Yearly Subscriptions to Reality Studies
Adding a new benefit for Reality Studies supporters 👀
As the title says, I’m starting a new policy with Reality Studies. Anyone who becomes a yearly subscriber is entitled to one half-hour consultation per year. This offer also applies to monthly subscribers for each 12-month period.
This is a considerable discount on my typical consulting rate. By supporting my work at Reality Studies, yearly subscribers get this additional benefit. I get a lot of inbounds that range from inquiries about consulting rates to requests to “pick my brain.” Hopefully this announcement streamlines things for all of us.
To receive an included consultation, as well as ongoing posts about life in Postreality, consider becoming a paid yearly subscriber.
What exactly do I consult on, and who would benefit from such consultations?
For an in-depth look at my work history, here’s my LinkedIn. The list below includes examples based on past consultations, but if you think there’s another way I could be helpful, I’m open to what you might propose.
Arts organizations and cultural institutions looking to better understand emerging technologies like generative AI, Web3, NFTs, and XR/the metaverse, and how they fit into existing frameworks
Startups and founders hoping to strengthen media strategy: how to tell your story more clearly, how to share your story with journalists, media hygiene and general best practices
Marketing, agency, and creative teams trying to learn how emerging technologies, foresight, and other future-forward practices might augment existing strategy
Writers and storytellers working on speculative and science fiction projects hoping to stress-test/validate premise, terminology, application of technologies, etc.
If you’d like me to consult for a longer duration, we’ll need to agree on the scope in advance (with the first half hour included in the cost of the subscription).
I have no idea yet how popular this will be, but in the event I have the (wonderful) problem that demand is overwhelming, I want to state the following. If at any point I decide to change this policy in the future, I’ll still honor the commitment with existing subscribers who have not yet taken me up on their offer in that year.
