Thank you for your care and thoughtfulness in sharing ways we can be better prepared. Appreciate also your reference to the profound moral injury of this moment.

This is very helpful, thank you! Breaking it down to a timeline & small steps helps with the sense of overwhelm many people are feeling.

A good article and I hope people read it and take some of this to heart and start practicing better ways. Some of us have been doing this for a long time

From a big picture perspective it might look like a shortage while eliminating a worldwide fossil fuel supply because it will not be needed to the same degree in the future.

Is Tesla type energy returning to rhe global stage because control of it has been squashed?

You be the judge.

I wish you well.

You might add learning to use a pressure canner to make use of all kinds of foods that might be found in your neighborhood. These include fruit trees, extra home garden produce that can be shelf stable if canned. There are digital pressure canners on the market that are easy to use and these will last 2-3 years on your pantry shelf. You can make your own stews and hearty soups at today’s prices and they’re healthier because you control the ingredients. It also gives you a supply of ready made gifts of meals for family or friends who may need sustenance.

I don’t understand, why would you advocate stocking up on dry goods!

Creating a rush on goods wont solve the problem and may make it worse?
